Clyde and Wilma Allen’s son has made the Coast Guard proud. Clyde Allen was a CGC Minnetonka crewmember and is a retired Coast Guard Chief Damage Control man and World War II Veteran.  Pictured with Admiral Allen is Doak Walker our reunion organizer and Jack Hunter.  The picture was taken on the CG Barque Eagle during our trip down the Potomac River, May 27 2006

To Our Friends of the WHEC 67 "The Minnetonka" (1946 - 1974)

Many web sites are available (see our Links page) of valuable information concerning this ship's exploits and history, so our desire for the intent of this site is to focus on the lives of the men who have served on this ship and the camaraderie we can all still share.

We would like to find and get in touch with all who are interested in sharing experiences and invite all we find to join us in celebrating each other and our many memories.
